National Pet Day is today!
Today is April 11th,
National Pet Day!
To celebrate National Pet day I thought I would write about our family dog Tilby.
She is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and so beautiful. Our dog Tilby has many talents, getting into trash while we are out, catching lizards, and eating rat poison. But despite all those, our dog is a big softie. After all her name Tilby is Norwegian for tender hearted kindness. She loves long hugs and will lick your face off if you raise your voice even a little. She hates arguing and stands between anyone who disagrees with the other. She is our peacemaker.
....Tilby has many enemies too. A demon neighbor cat and the UPS man better beware. She would destroy the UPS man if she could. She can sense the UPS man from our living room even if he’s on the other side of the next block over! How cool is that? The only responsibility she has is to keep us safe. And she does a good job, after all she is a Rhodesian Ridgeback African Lion Dog!
She only watches the UPS man because she’s waiting for her love language, and it is… wait for it, food
After she eats, she goes and sleeps as she waits for a walk. Her routine is, Wake, Eat, Walk, Sleep, Sleep, Walk, Eat, Go To Bed. She likes to stick to her routine and does pretty much nothing else.
After all, she is living “A Dogs Life”.
